Job summary

Health Partners, a leading UK provider of occupational health and wellbeing solutions, invites applications for a Laboratory Analyst in our Confirmation team at Matrix Diagnostics in Waltham Abbey, Essex. The role is 37.5 hours per week with a salary of £30,000 per year.

You will work within a regulated laboratory, maintaining LIMS records, performing QC, calibration, and routine maintenance while supporting ISO 17025 and related standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in a suitable science subject is essential.
• Experience in a regulated environment (ISO 17025, GLP).
• Knowledge of Analytical Extraction Processes, Screening and Confirmation Analytical Technologies, and ISO17025 awareness.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyse confirmation samples efficiently.
• Maintain accurate LIMS records and QC/instrument management.
• Perform daily system checks, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
• Review analytical results for customers and provide interpretation where required.
• Prepare and verify calibrator and QC materials.
• Monitor stock levels of consumables, reagents and in-house standards.
• Participate in Team Meetings and drive continuous improvement.
• Support internal/external audits.
• Ensure work complies with ISO 17025/ISO 14001/ISO 27001/ISO 9001 requirements.
• Package samples for referral to external laboratory.
