Job summary

Marlin Environmental Services is seeking an Authorised Persons Coordinator to oversee Confined Space AP activities across our marine defence sector contracts. Portsmouth Naval Base with occasional travel to customer sites, this permanent, full-time role focuses on delivering safe, compliant confined space operations and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Confined Space Authorised Person qualification.
• Understand confined space operations, permit to work systems and safe systems of work.
• Willing to undertake IOSH accredited Health & Safety training.
• Strong understanding of confined space legislation, processes and safety procedures.
• Awareness of MOD establishments and JSP375 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee Confined Space Authorised Person activities across marine defence sector contracts.
• Provide guidance and technical expertise to the AP team.
• Ensure activities comply with legislation, JSP375 and customer procedures.
• Work with management to ensure AP coverage and resource planning.
• Support audits and maintain compliant documentation and processes.
• Monitor AP qualifications, training and competency records.
• Drive continuous safety improvements and uphold high standards.
