Job summary

Framatome UK is seeking a Configuration Replication Process Owner to lead the definition and rollout of configuration and replication processes within the PLM environment. You will coordinate with the TD-EI and EDF/Edvance teams on end‑to‑end configuration management for the CALM project and data management across lifecycle stages.

The role requires a Master’s degree, extensive nuclear industry experience in the UK, and strong leadership with the ability to work across multi‑disciplinary teams

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in the nuclear industry and strong understanding of UK EPR technology.
  • Technical Integration / Configuration Management knowledge.
  • Proven experience with configuration management tools (PLM, MANTIS, etc.).
  • Transversal skills: management, multi-interfaces, organisational ability, leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of configuration and replication processes within the PLM tool.
  • Participate in PLM workshops and process discussions.
  • Lead and prepare deliverables for workshops (e.g., process modelling).
  • Produce and update process procedures impacted by PLM tool implementation.
  • Work with data and tool teams to ensure data management principles are applied.
  • Liaise with Process Lead and end users to gather feedback and ensure tools meet needs.
  • Report changes that affect end users to the Configuration and Replication Manager.
  • Support change management to tailor plans to the population and scope.

Under the NSA, EDF/Edvance is mandated to provide Plant Integration Services, delegated directly by the Employer’s Technical Directorate Engineering Integration branch (TD-EI).Among the services provided under Plant Integration are the coordination of end-to-end configuration, including defining the configuration strategy in the specific context of replication, managing the process of design changes, and their validation in the No Change Committee. Moreover, Plant Integration is also responsible for defining, implementing, and supervising the roll out of the strategies and procedures regarding Data Management and Tools Implementation.The CALM (Configuration Asset Lifecycle Management) project aims at defining an integrated data centric tool (PLM) to support configuration management across the lifecycle of the project (EPCC). The configuration and replication process owner represents the process stakeholders and is responsible for the implementation of the configuration and replication processes in the PLM.This role sits in the Configuration and Replication team and the role reports to the Configuration Manager.Principal AccountabilitiesThe main responsibilities of the Configuration Replication Process Owner are:· Supporting the implementation of Configuration and Replication processes within the PLM tool.· Participating in PLM workshops where the process implementation is discussed.· Leading and preparing deliverables related to the process, as required for workshops (e.g., process modelling).· Producing and updating existing process procedures where impacted by the implementation of the new PLM tool.· Working closely with the data and tool teams (Solution Architect Manager, data stewards, data engineers) to ensure that data management principles are applied while meeting process requirements.· Liaising with the Process Lead and end users to gather operational feedback from the field and ensure that processes and tools meet user needs.· Reporting to the Configuration and Replication Manager and flagging any changes in current practices that could have a significant impact on end users.· Supporting the change management team to ensure that the change management plan is tailored to the target population and aligned with the scope of the introduced changes.## You areYour background may include some of the following (not exhaustive):– Experience (min 5 years) in the nuclear industry with a very good understanding of UK EPR technology– Technical Integration / Configuration Management knowledge– Proven experience with configuration management tools (PLM, MANTIS, etc.)– Transversal skills:· Management skills· Ability to deal with multiple interfaces· Organisational skills, capability to meet commitments and deadlines· Leadership, pro-activeness· Communication & interpersonal skills– Ability to adapt and learn in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment.– Ability to set, achieve and maintain high standards regarding safety and quality.Languages (level)– English fluent (required)– French – bonus## Additional information**Specialization:** TAA - Design , engineering management & Systems engineering**Level of education (all)** Master**Place:** United Kingdom, Bristol, Aztec West**Employment level:** Non cadre
