Our Engineering and Manufacturing client is currently seeking a technically skilled Configuration Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Interpret manufacturing drawings, including flat patterns and 3D formats.
• Configure business systems and workflows related to product configuration, rules logic, estimating templates, and Bill of Materials.
• Utilise systems for automating SolidWorks designs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to optimizing the configuration and manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or similar in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in configuration engineering, CAD administration, or technical documentation roles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with SolidWorks or 3D modelling and understanding of flat pattern design.
