Job summary

NRL is recruiting a Configuration Engineer for a major nuclear power project based in Bristol with a hybrid working pattern. The role focuses on aligning design and construction while ensuring compliance with UK nuclear regulations.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical background with the ability to analyse technical documents.
• Knowledge of configuration management principles.
• Understanding of engineering requirements, quality processes, and CDM regulations.
• Strong stakeholder management and project coordination skills.
• Nuclear industry experience, including familiarity with nuclear site licence conditions.
• Ability to track progress, manage priorities, and elevate issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support management of design changes, open points, and technical interfaces.
• Monitor and steer end-to-end configuration activities across the lifecycle.

• Identify opportunities for process, system, and procedural improvements.
