Job summary

Lorien is recruiting a Configuration / Business Systems Analyst for a leading international insurance company. You will support critical applications, evaluate requirements, configure and maintain systems, and document technical details.

Reporting to the Lead Configuration Developer, you will manage build and maintenance of Exposure Risk Management apps, coordinate releases, liaise with vendors, and assist testing and user acceptance. Hybrid: 2 days in the office.

Qualifications

• SQL knowledge and data analysis skills.
• Understanding of Agile software development processes.
• Experience in insurance projects or domains is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with technical stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Support, administer and maintain a portfolio of Exposure Risk Management applications.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests and technical issues.
• Liaise with third-party vendors to manage support cases, upgrades and service delivery.
• Coordinate application maintenance, releases, upgrades, and deployment activities.
• Manage and prioritise work across Jira and ServiceNow queues.
• Develop, maintain and enhance runbooks and support procedures.
• Assist with testing activities, release validation and user acceptance processes.

Job description

You will join a successful international insurance company who specialise in commercial insurance and reinsurance products. The team are looking for a Configuration / Business Systems Analyst to work within a collaborative technology team, to play a key role in supporting business-critical applications, evaluating business and system requirements, configuring and supporting business applications, producing and maintaining technical documentation, and supporting the testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of systems.

Reporting to the Lead Configuration Developer in the team and the role will be responsible for managing the ongoing build and maintenance of the application set. You will support a portfolio of Exposure Risk Management applications used across the business to support underwriting, risk assessment, and modelling activities.

Main responsibilities:

• Support, administer and maintain a portfolio of Exposure Risk Management applications.
• Investigate and resolve application incidents, service requests, and technical issues.
• Liaise with third-party vendors to manage support cases, issue resolution, upgrades, and service delivery.
• Coordinate application maintenance, releases, upgrades, and deployment activities.
• Manage and prioritise work across Jira and ServiceNow queues.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance operational documentation, runbooks, and support procedures.
• Assist with testing activities, release validation, and user acceptance processes.
• Hybrid working: 2 days in the office
• Salary up to £65,000 + 12.5% bonus
• 25 days annual leave + bank holidays + option to buy and sell
