Job summary

Protocol Education is partnering with secondary schools in Central & North Bristol to recruit Unqualified Supply Teachers. No prior school experience or teaching qualifications are required, and all necessary training is provided free of charge.

You will supervise classes, deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain a calm and positive classroom, and help students stay engaged. Flexible pattern 2–5 days per week; driving is beneficial, but not essential.

Qualifications

• A degree is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise secondary school classes in absence of the regular teacher.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students complete set work.
• Maintain a calm, structured and positive classroom environment.
• Support students to remain engaged and on task.
• Follow school behaviour policies and routines.
• You are not expected to teach new material.
