Job summary

Quakers in Britain, based in London, seeks an Event Executive to deliver exceptional client experiences for conferences, meetings, and events at Friends House. You will lead coordination across internal teams, maintain clear event documentation, and drive client satisfaction while upholding Quaker values.

The role requires managing multiple events, strong communication skills, and a proactive, service-oriented approach. On-site role with some flexibility for early mornings, evenings, or weekends.

Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating events, conferences, or hospitality.
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and under pressure.
  • Experience working directly with clients and internal teams.
  • Experience working toward targets and upselling where appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Work towards the department’s financial goals, setting individual targets.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients post handover from Sales.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Facilities, Catering and AV to meet client requirements.
  • Prepare and communicate function sheets and setup details for events.
  • Manage on-site client liaison and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Upsell during event planning to maximise business performance.
  • Gather post-event feedback to drive service improvements.
  • Maintain accurate event data in venue booking systems and assist reporting.
  • Support Commercial Team for smooth collaboration and consistent service quality.
