Qualifications

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Conference Producer to build and manage the conference programmes across All Energy, Offshore Europe and Oceanology International.

This role requires excellent research and communication skills, commercial acumen and the ability to create compelling programmes tailored to specific audience personas.

This exciting and creative role is ideally suited for a conference producer with relevant experience who is keen to take on a role that offers a high degree of autonomy and accountability.

Responsibilities

  1. Utilising customer insight, needs and behaviours to develop the content strategy and plan for All Energy, Offshore Europe and Oceanology International.
  2. Generating high-quality, research-based conference agendas and event formats to meet the needs of different visitor personas/audience segments.
  3. Identifying, securing and managing high-profile speakers from leading organisations.
  4. Working collaboratively with conference sponsors and their customers to ensure the objectives of both exhibitors and visitors are met through high profile practitioner presentations.
  5. Collaborating with the marketing team to support the delivery of the visitor audience by assisting with the messaging for visitor acquisition activity. Managing the video archives and creating and promoting high quality conference video content. Leading the delivery of the print event guide.
  6. Contributing to the content marketing strategy and tactics for the event by helping to create compelling content e.g., videos, polls, speaker interviews, speaker blogs etc. Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver this.
  7. Collaborating with the sales team to understand the needs of the exhibitor customer to identify sponsorship and new product opportunities. Supporting sales at client meetings.
  8. Building and nurturing long-term relationships with the publishing community including end-user practitioners, vendors and associations along with internal stakeholders in marketing, sales and operations.
  9. Ensuring the production timeline of conference programmes are delivered on time and working with the Marketing Manager to ensure delivery of content plan.
  10. Managing and analysing event feedback and using data and KPIs to monitor success innovate, develop and improve conference strategies.
  11. Maintaining fully updated programmes, speaker lists and speaker biographies. Uploading and updating all conference sessions and speakers on the websites. Managing speakers’ budget.

Requirements

  1. Have experience in Conference Production, ideally within the Energy sector
  2. Have experience in researching new markets and delivering top-level programmes to tight deadlines
  3. Demonstrate excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
  4. Have a good understanding of IT and technical research
  5. Be a motivated individual and true team player
  6. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  7. Have good business acumen and creative thinking skills
  8. Have meticulous attention to detail and good networking skills
