Are you passionate about concrete technology and looking to make a real impact in a dynamic and technical role? We’re looking for a Concrete Technologist to join our Construction Chemicals brand, based at our Coventry office, with national travel across the UK.

About the Role

As a Concrete Technologist, you'll provide technical support to customers across the UK and internationally. This will involve laboratory evaluations, on-site trials, and collaboration with our broader Construction Chemicals team. You'll manage and deliver technical projects, develop recommendations, and produce detailed technical reports to guide our customers and internal teams.

This is a hands-on and varied position, with your time split between laboratory work and on-site visits to customer plants. Flexibility to travel is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory trials and product evaluations
• Support customer plant trials and troubleshooting
• Provide technical guidance to clients and internal teams
• Prepare technical reports and recommend action plans
• Lead and manage technical development projects
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and technologies

About You

We’re looking for a certified and experienced technologist with a strong foundation in concrete technology.

Essential Qualifications:

• ICT (Institute of Concrete Technology) Parts 1, 2, and 3
• or
• City & Guilds in Concrete Technology
• or
• Equivalent formal qualifications in Concrete Technology

Experience & Skills:

• Practical experience in concrete materials, admixtures, or construction chemicals
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to manage projects independently
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Comfortable working in laboratory and site environments
