Responsibilities

• Operate the concrete plant safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily plant checks and complete paperwork.

• Report plant defects and customer complaints.
• Carry out routine plant maintenance and cleaning.
• Assist fitting staff with breakdowns and maintenance.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work.
• Work at other locations as required.

Concrete Plant Operative to join our team at

Highland Lime Quarry, Fort William.

This is a hands-on role involving concrete batching, plant checks and routine maintenance, with a strong focus on maintaining safe and efficient plant operations.

The Role

• Operating the concrete plant safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily plant checks and completing relevant paperwork
• Maintaining high standards of product quality and reporting any issues
• Liaising with Orders and Distribution and mixer drivers regarding customer orders
• Ensuring sufficient stocks of raw materials are available to meet production requirements
• Reporting plant defects and customer complaints as required
• Carrying out routine plant maintenance and cleaning
• Assisting fitting staff with breakdowns and maintenance
• Following Company Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work
• Working at other locations as and when required
