Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK invites you to start a structured apprenticeship in construction at our Chipping Sodbury location. You will earn £25,084 while you gain a Level 5 in Mineral Product Technician and work toward the role of Area Technical Supervisor through hands-on projects and mentorship.

From day one you’ll be employed in our Technical department, paired with experienced professionals, and study part-time at a university so theory directly informs practice and vice versa.

Qualifications

• 80+ UCAS points and GCSEs including Maths, English and Science required.
• Full UK driving licence required or in progress.
• Self-starter, team player, good communicator, flexible and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Health & Safety: Support safety procedures and promote a strong safety culture.
• Environmental Management: Assist with permit compliance and sustainability initiatives.
• Quality Assurance: Work with the technical team to maintain product quality and efficiency.
• Compliance: Help ensure all activities meet legal and company standards.
• Operations & Production: Contribute to production targets and plant/machinery management.
