Position Overview:

We seek a talented Concept Artist to contribute to Puyi’s creative ecosystem. This role requires creative brilliance and strategic insight to influence our brands and collaborations. Portfolio submissions should demonstrate narrative ambition, such as eyewear prototypes, fashion film vignettes, or spatial design concepts, including:

• A couture lookbook inspired by Ming Dynasty armor and modernist tailoring
• Cinematic storyboards framing optical wear as cultural symbols
• Interactive installations exploring vision and identity

The Concept Artist will work closely with the Brand Director on content development, synthesizing insights into compelling concepts for campaigns, products, and immersive experiences. Success depends on balancing creativity with strategic alignment to Puyi’s visual identity and brand vision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Brand Director to develop concepts across projects involving Product Development, Store Development, and Brand Management.
• Lead creative projects, generating ideas and thematic concepts.
• Visually communicate ideas through sketches, mood boards, and storyboards to gain stakeholder buy-in.
• Address feedback during concept development and implementation.
• Guide the creative process for product campaigns and marketing initiatives, ensuring quality, budget, and deadlines are met.
• Identify emerging trends in luxury fashion and digital innovation.
• Potentially contribute to video storyboarding and editing.
• Engage with digital marketing and tech teams to produce engaging content.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Liberal Arts, Fine Arts, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in creative and brand design, with successful marketing communication projects.
• Strong portfolio of luxury design work.
• Creative mindset with storytelling passion and innovative ideas.
• Knowledge of luxury retail and digital trends is preferred.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable to fast-paced environments.
• Excellent presentation skills, both visual and verbal.
• Strong graphic design skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and resourceful.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
