Morgan Hunt UK Ltd is seeking an experienced IT Lecturer for a full-time position in South Essex. This role offers an immediate start and pays up to £38 per hour.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging IT-related teaching across programmes, plan schemes of learning, assess learners and provide feedback, and maintain high-quality records in line with college policies.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across IT-related courses and qualifications.
• Prepare schemes of learning, lesson plans and teaching resources in line with curriculum and awarding body requirements.
• Teach relevant IT topics, such as computer systems, networking, software applications, programming and digital technologies, as appropriate to the curriculum.
• Use a range of teaching methods and digital resources to meet learners needs and encourage participation.
• Assess learner progress, mark assignments and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Monitor attendance, progress and performance, maintaining accurate learner records.
• Support learners with their personal development and progression into further study or employment within the IT sector.
• Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages learner engagement and achievement.
• Keep up to date with developments in IT and digital technologies to ensure teaching remains relevant.
• Ensure teaching, assessment and record-keeping comply with relevant quality standards, safeguarding requirements and college policies.

Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a leading Further Education provider to recruit an experienced IT Lecturer for a full-time opportunity in South Essex.

Pay: Up to £38 per hour

Contract Type: Full-Time

Location: SS14 1GP

Start Date: Immediately

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic IT Lecturer to deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across IT-related programmes. The successful candidate will have strong technical subject knowledge, a passion for education and the ability to support learners in developing the digital skills and technical understanding required to progress into further study or employment within the IT industry.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience teaching or lecturing in IT, Computing or a related subject.
• Strong technical knowledge across relevant IT and computing topics.
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements.
• Experience assessing learner work, monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback.
• Excellent communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
• The ability to use digital learning platforms and technology to support teaching and assessment.
• A commitment to learner achievement, development and progression.
• A relevant IT or Computing qualification and an appropriate teaching qualification, where required.
• An understanding of safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion within an educational setting.
