Job summary

Oxford International Education Group is seeking a Programme Lead in Computing & Engineering in Sheffield. The role provides academic leadership for designated programmes, ensuring delivery quality and student progression while balancing teaching with leadership duties.

You will oversee curriculum, assessment, data-driven improvements, and collaboration with College leadership to meet strategic objectives and standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Computing and Engineering.
• Postgraduate qualification in Computing and Engineering or a related discipline (Desirable).
• Recognised teaching qualification relevant to higher education (Desirable).
• Advance HE Fellowship (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day academic leadership for designated programmes and act as the principal academic point of coordination for the programme.
• Plan staffing requirements in advance and work with the College Director to ensure programmes are appropriately resourced.
• Lead annual module evaluation processes and support programme enhancement.
• Plan and deliver up to 15 hours per week of high-quality teaching in line with module requirements.
• Contribute to assessment marking, moderation and standardisation as required.
