Job summary

The University of Aberdeen International Study Centre, operated by Study Group, seeks a dedicated tutor to teach across Computer Science modules at Foundation and IY2 levels. You will design and deliver high-quality teaching materials and support student learning both in-person and via VLE.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
• Teaching qualification and experience with international students.
• Experience teaching CS modules in UK higher education.
• Experience with Object-Oriented programming (MATLAB, Python).
• Knowledge of JavaScript is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver CS modules for Foundation and IY2.
• Prepare lessons, seminars and tutorials, and assessments.
• Mark and provide timely feedback on student work and reports.
• Act as Personal Tutor and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate withCentre staff to support student welfare and progression.
