Job summary

Burton and South Derbyshire College in Burton on Trent is seeking a part-time Computing Course Leader to lead teaching across AI, Data and Cyber Security pathways at Level 3. You will contribute to curriculum delivery, resources, and learner progression.

A degree or equivalent is highly desirable; a certificate in education or willingness to work towards this is helpful. Experience in networking and data analysis is advantageous, with English and Maths support at Level 2.

Qualifications

  • Skills and knowledge of Cyber Security are essential; Networking and Data Analysis would also be advantageous.

Part time, 18.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary: £14,435 - £18,295 per annum (£28,870 - £36,590 pro rata)
Town Centre Campus, Burton on Trent

Burton and South Derbyshire College are looking for a part time course leader to join their Computing and Emerging Technologies curriculum department to deliver a range of units across AI, Data and Cyber Security pathways at Levels 3.

A degree or equivalent is highly desirable for this role, along with a certificate in education or a willingness to work to achieve this. Skills and knowledge of Cyber Security are essential, while Networking and Data Analysis would also be advantageous.

The role of Course Leader offers the opportunity to create innovative resources that stretch and challenge, empower learners to realise their full potential and strive for excellence. Applicants should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
