TeacherActive Limited is recruiting a Computer Science Teacher for a mainstream secondary school in Telford. The role is full-time and long-term, teaching KS3 and KS4 with a focus on GCSE preparation.

The successful candidate will have QTS with a CS specialism, strong subject knowledge in programming, and excellent classroom management to drive student progress.

Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4.

Job Title: Computer Science Teacher

Location: Telford

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £160 - £250 per day

Contract type: Full-time, long-term basis

The Head Teacher is looking to take on a dedicated Computer Science Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis. The successful Computer Science Teacher will be teaching across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons, supporting GCSE exam preparation and ensuring students make excellent progress.

The successful Computer Science Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Computer Science specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Computer Science up to KS4
• Strong subject knowledge, including programming and computing
• Excellent classroom management
• A positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching
