Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Computer Science Teacher for a full-time, long-term temporary role at a welcoming secondary school in Oldbury Wells, West Midlands. You will deliver engaging CS and ICT lessons, manage classrooms effectively, and support students’ progress across the secondary curriculum.

The successful candidate will hold QTS and have strong CS knowledge, with a flexible, adaptable approach to teaching and a commitment to high educational standards.

Qualifications

• QTS with experience teaching Computer Science or ICT.
• Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the Computer Science curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.

The school is looking to appoint a Computer Science Teacher on a full-time, long term temporary basis. The successful Computer Science Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Computer Science curriculum, supporting students' academic progress and maintaining high standards of teaching and classroom management.

The successful Computer Science Teacher will have:

• QTS with experience teaching Computer Science or ICT
• Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary school level
• Strong knowledge of the Computer Science curriculum
• Excellent classroom management skills
• The ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
• A passion for technology and developing students' digital skills
• A positive, flexible and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
