Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a welcoming secondary school in Huddersfield to recruit a dedicated Computer Science Teacher for KS3 and KS4, with potential KS5 depending on experience.

The role focuses on delivering engaging CS lessons, planning and assessing under the national curriculum, and driving student progress. A strong emphasis on inclusive teaching and contributing to the department is expected.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching Computer Science in a UK secondary school.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills.
• Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology.
• Is committed to raising standards and achieving excellent outcomes for students.
• Possesses an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
