Job Description:

Opportunity for CNC Workshop Supervisors to oversee and assist a small team in an established Aerospace precision engineering company. This hands-on Programmer (online), setter, and operator role involves overseeing workshop operations, planning, and ensuring high standards of production.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and lead a team of skilled CNC machinists, providing guidance and support.
2. Oversee CNC milling and turning operations, ensuring timely, specification-compliant, and budget-conscious completion.
3. Maintain high quality control standards throughout manufacturing.
4. Train and mentor staff, promoting skill development and career growth.
5. Coordinate with production to schedule work and manage operational challenges.
6. Ensure safety compliance and promote a safety culture.
7. Improve workflows and processes for productivity and efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Proven experience in CNC machining, including milling and turning, with Hurco, Mazak, and DMU Mills, CNC, and manual lathes.
2. Ability to program from drawings.
3. Strong leadership and management potential.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Effective communication skills.
6. Understanding of production planning and efficient strategy implementation.
7. Commitment to a safe and clean work environment.
