Job summary

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Generation and update of engineering drawings and models.
  • Execution of the companies document control procedures to correctly file and distribute drawings.
  • Modify and update existing CAD drawings and models as required.
  • Ensure all drawings are accurate, clearly dimensioned, and comply with company standards and relevant national standards.
  • Maintain and organize CAD drawing files and documentation.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineers, production teams, and other departments to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
  • Assist in the preparation of Bills of Materials (BOMs) from CAD drawings.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of CAD standards and procedures.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • T level or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., mechanical engineering, design engineering).
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor).
  • A good understanding of engineering drawing principles and practices.
