Job summary

Reflection seeks a Compute Platform Lead to guide a high-performing team responsible for the company’s multi-cloud compute platform. The role combines leadership with hands-on contribution to ensure the compute fleet is reliable, scalable, and ready for next-generation GPUs.

You will steer architectural decisions, coordinate with training teams, and manage vendor relationships while growing the team to meet ambitious deployment goals across neo-clouds.

Qualifications

• Experience building, mentoring, and growing systems or infrastructure teams while staying technically hands-on.
• Deep systems-level engineering experience with focus on cluster-wide behavior and maintenance.
• Ability to learn rest of stack and earn trust of a strong team.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of systems engineers.
• Provide front-line leadership to keep the compute fleet reliable and highly available across multi-cloud environments.
• Stay hands-on to contribute as an individual while guiding strategy and architecture.
• Manage day-to-day execution, prioritizing work in a fast-paced setting.
• Guide architectural decisions emphasizing scalability, fault tolerance, and performance benchmarking.
• Collaborate with training teams and manage vendor relationships and key deals.
