Job purpose and deliverables
The Compute commercial marketing communication specialist will play a key role in shaping Qualcomm's B2B storytelling. Collaborating with channel and OEM teams, they will educate and excite both channel partners and end users about the benefits of Snapdragon compute platforms. Responsibilities include developing and leading local marketing initiatives to drive business results for Qualcomm and its partners.
This role requires a solid understanding of marketing strategies, product positioning, data analytics, and customer support, with the ability to quickly understand and communicate benefits to OEMs and partners locally.
European Marcomms Strategy Development & Execution:
- Develop and implement regional internal and external marketing communications plans, including campaigns, PR, and social initiatives, in collaboration with global marketing teams and OEM partner marketing leadership, leveraging global content for brand building and sales.
- Coordinate with global teams to tailor campaign materials to regional needs, ensuring consistent messaging and branding.
- Identify regional opportunities and trends requiring additional communications support.
- Support OEM marketing relationships within the EMEA region.
PR
- Work with PR agencies and global teams to identify key publications and stories to increase awareness among CTO and ITDM audiences.
- Coordinate product review opportunities with journalists.
- Support EU award submissions in collaboration with regional teams and PR agencies.
Social/Influencer
- Develop EU-focused messaging for Qualcomm-owned channels with support from global teams.
- Coordinate with social media and influencer agencies to produce regular, appropriate content.
Events
- Ensure event toolkits support local B2B events and provide event support as needed.
Campaign Management
- Lead regional execution of channel marketing programs aligned with global strategies, tailored to local markets.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure regional campaigns align with overall Snapdragon marketing plans.
Content Creation
- Provide feedback on centrally produced content for local relevance.
- Leverage customer success stories for marketing purposes.
Budget Management
- Develop and oversee the marketing budget, monitoring campaign effectiveness.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Align with global marketing leaders and work closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure successful campaign execution.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, agencies, and media.
Experience
Seeking a team player passionate about marketing and capable of shaping Qualcomm’s marketing programs. The candidate should have strong creative, communication, customer management, and analytical skills, with relevant partner/customer marketing experience and deep consumer marketing knowledge.
- At least 4 years in partner marketing, customer relationship marketing, or related fields within the technology sector, with experience in consumer or commercial channels.
- Preferred experience in semiconductor, communications, or technology industries.
- Ability to develop and execute consumer and commercial channel programs.
- Experience leading cross-functional and cross-regional teams to create comprehensive plans.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills.
- Resourceful, solution-oriented, and adaptable to fast-paced environments.
- Comfortable managing budgets.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business.
- MS or MBA in Marketing or Communications preferred.

• Associate's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or
• High School Diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.
