Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Compressor Service Engineer for a local patch around Nottingham. You will service, install and maintain air compressors and generators across a 75-mile radius, traveling to sites including Leeds and Birmingham, with home most nights.

The role is Monday to Friday, 40 hours, with some flexibility. Salary ranges £40,000–£43,000 plus bonuses, vehicle, healthcare, and 25 days holiday, plus laptop and phone.

Qualifications

• Experience with air compressors or nitrogen/oxygen generators.
• Field service experience involving servicing, installation or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Travel to sites within a 2/3 hour radius of Nottingham, including Leeds and Birmingham.
• Perform servicing, maintenance and installation of air compressors and generators.
• Cover a local patch, returning home almost every night.
• Work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with some flexibility.

Are you a compressor Service Engineer looking to join a family-feel company, where you are valued as an employee working across a local patch with a great work-life balance?

Covering a 75-mile radius around Nottingham, you will be servicing, installing and maintaining a range of industrial air compressors and generators.

Founded over 15 years ago, this company are experienced unprecedented growth and are looking to bolster the team for the long term, doubling their turnover last year. They work within most industries including manufacturing, laboratories, MoD, and oil & gas.

This role would suit a Service Engineer with compressor experience looking for a career, in a local role offering an excellent work-life balance.

The Role:

• Travelling to sites from Nottingham, up to Leeds and down to Birmingham


• Performing servicing, maintenance and installation of air compressors and generators


• Covering a local patch within a 2/3 hour radius of your home, home almost every night


• Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, some flexibility needed
