This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Composites Technician to join the Manufacturing Assembly, Integration and Testing team of a highly successful company at the forefront of Aerospace innovation in a newly-created role.

The Role

The Composites Technician will work across my client's product portfolio, manufacturing fibre-based components such as carbon fibre, glass fibre, and aramid fibre-based components. The Composites Technician will also manufacture simple tooling/moulds and patterns using epoxy or foam-based materials, as well as supporting the assembly of hardware.

What do I need?

• Strong engineering knowledge with experience in the assembly of precision components
• Demonstrable practical experience of composites manufacturing
• Knowledge of both the theoretical and practical aspects of MAIT, such as functional testing, electrical bonding/isolation, vibration, shock, TVAC, kinematic testing of deployable systems, etc.
• Demonstrable experience of using assembly procedures.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of detailed drawings, surface finishes, tolerances, materials, etc.
