Job summary

iCOMAT is seeking a highly capable engineer to join our growing team in the UK. You will support quotations, assist product design for manufacture, and create routings/BOMs for our advanced composite production.

You will contribute to quality plans and process improvements across manufacturing operations. The role requires practical composite manufacturing experience, CAD proficiency (SolidWorks/Composer), and a proactive approach to process development and quality control.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of Composite manufacture and processing essential.
• Strong understanding of composite materials and their behaviour.
• Understanding of AS9100 and quality control in aerospace environment.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Support BD with quotations (methodology and costings).
• Support product design for manufacture as required.
• Create Routings and BoM’s.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures and an inspection plan.
