GTS Group Wiltshire is seeking a Quality Inspector specialising in composites to support aerospace, automotive and space sectors. The role focuses on CMM inspection and programming, dimensional and visual inspection of composite and metallic parts, and ensuring quality across incoming, in-process and finished goods.

Competenze

• 2–3+ years' experience in Quality Inspection or Quality Control in manufacturing.
• Experience with CMM operation and programming, ideally PCDMIS.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience working with CAD models for inspection.
• Strong understanding of dimensional inspection and measurement equipment.
• Experience in composite, aerospace, automotive, motorsport or advanced manufacturing is beneficial.
• Knowledge of composite materials and manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, positive and hands-on approach.
• Engineering or Manufacturing qualification (Level 3 NVQ or equivalent).

Mansioni

• Carrying out CMM inspection and programming (PCDMIS) of manufactured components.
• Performing dimensional and visual inspections of composite and metallic parts.
• Inspecting incoming materials, in-process components and finished products.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications and CAD models.
• Using inspection equipment including CMMs, micrometres, callipers and gauges.
• Producing FAIR packs, inspection reports and Certificates of Conformance.
• Supporting MRB, non-conformance and corrective action processes.
• Carrying out Gauge R&R activities.
• Working closely with Production and Engineering to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Maintaining accurate inspection and quality records.
• Supporting root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100.
