Job description

Carbon Component Solutions (“CCS”) is a constantly expanding company based in Silverstone. We work in a fast-paced production environment in the composite industry. CCS’ work is predominately to supply components for the motorsport/automotive/general industry.

We are currently looking for fulltime Composite Laminators - Day Shift.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding technical drawings and laminate manuals, carrying out work in accordance with the instructions.
• Ensure materials used are as specified and laid up in accordance with lay-up instructions and/or the manuals.
• Laminate with good attention to detail.
• Vacuum bag parts to a high standard.
• Assist as required in all aspects of Production including preparation of moulds and de-moulding.
• Complete paperwork to the required standard.

Candidate Specification:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience required in composites.
• Good knowledge of laminating processes for different materials used in creating a high quality component.
• Able to work to a very high standard of quality and tight time scales.
• Being a dependable hardworking team player.
• Ability to adapt and be flexible to customer requirements.

Hourly rate of pay: Competitive
