Zusammenfassung

McLaren Racing in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Chassis team. You will design composite and metallic race car components, tooling, jig parts and test jigs for the new car and in-season upgrades.

You will own design projects from brief to delivery, investigate reliability issues, and develop effective solutions, while mentoring junior team members and collaborating with stakeholders to follow established processes.

Qualifikationen

Proven design experience with composite race car components.
Experience in Formula 1 or similar high-performance design environment.
Strong knowledge of composite and metallic materials.
Proficient in CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE; Word and Excel skills.
Degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering is advantageous.

Create conceptual and detailed designs for composite and metallic components and tooling.
Take ownership of design projects from brief to delivery, at pace.
