Job summary

Reeve in London is hiring for a careful maintenance assistant to perform statutory tests across our portfolio, including emergency lighting, fire alarms, water temperatures, flushing, fire door inspections, and dry risers. You will log every result the same day with readings, photos, and certificates, and flag failures to the team while helping with asset records in a team-oriented environment.

• Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment is advantageous.
• No specific qualifications required, but Legionella/L8 water hygiene training, Lone Working and Electrical Safety training preferred.
• Healthy focus on accuracy in recording readings, photos and certificates.

Job description

Foot-mobile, London. You keep our buildings legally compliant and prove it with statutory testing and evidence.

You will be:

• Log every result the same day — readings, photos, certificates, asset records.
• Flag failures and defects immediately to the team.

About You

• You are a careful and methodical worker, interested in growing your experience in property maintenance
• Experienced with hardware tools and electrical equipment.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems
• Basic maths skills.
• An experienced problem solver, you can think outside the box to come up with solutions.
• Good communication ability and confidence in front of clients. You will be representing Reeve in a professional manner.
• Well-organised with good attention to detail.
• Health and safety is a priority and you can spot problems before they happen.
• Comfortable working alone and also as part of a team.

Qualifications:

• No specific qualifications are required, but Legionella / L8 water hygiene training, Lone Working and Electrical Safety training is preferred.
