Job summary

Samworth Brothers is seeking a Compliance Technologist at our Melton Mowbray site to own updating key technical systems, monitor customer compliance data, and ensure audits and document control are completed accurately and on time.

You will collaborate with QA, Technical, Process and Production teams, analysing KPI data and handling customer complaints while maintaining strong compliance standards across operations.

Qualifications

  • Solid technical knowledge and hands-on experience in food safety compliance.
  • MS Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills.
  • Experience with technical systems in chilled food manufacturing is a plus.
  • Clear communication, collaborative working style and proactive problem-solving.

  • Maintain and update technical systems to support safe and legal production.
  • Collate and analyse technical and customer KPI data to identify trends.
  • Manage customer complaints, logging responses and sharing updates with the QA Team.
  • Monitor customer retail systems, ensuring test results and alerts are managed appropriately.

About The Role

As a Compliance Technologist you will be at the heart of keeping our site running smoothly and safely. In this role you will take ownership of updating key technical systems, monitoring customer compliance data. and ensuring that audits and document control processes are completed accurately and on time. You will collaborate with teams across the site including QA, Technical, Process and Production, as well as with external partners. You will help everyone to stay aligned and confident in our compliance standards. Your work will make a real difference in keeping our operations efficient, consistent and fully compliant.

Key Responsibilities
