Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Compliance Technician to join the team near Salisbury. The role involves performing compliance tests on microbiological containment facilities and equipment, recording data, and producing reports for regulatory inspections under client and safety requirements.

You will liaise with lab users and engineering teams to ensure testing requirements are met and help apply innovative solutions to meet the client’s needs and deadlines.

Qualifications

• BTEC or equivalent in science/engineering.
• Experience in a scientific or technical field.
• Testing of laboratory equipment.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Carry out compliance testing per safety and client codes on microbiological equipment and HVAC systems.
• Ensure test data is recorded accurately and reports are produced for regulatory inspections (HSE).
• Liaise with Lab users and engineering support to meet testing requirements and witness sub-contracted staff activities.
• Advise lab users and apply solutions to meet client needs, deadlines and targets.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.

Job Title: Compliance Technician

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Compliance Technician to join the team located near Salisbury.

As a Compliance Technician, will be required to carry out performance integrity testing and validation of microbiological high containment facilities and equipment in accordance with safety, regulatory and client requirements.

Daily Tasks

• To carry out compliance testing in accordance with safety and the clients' codes of practice on a range of specialist Laboratory equipment such as Microbiological Safety cabinets and HVAC systems.
• To ensure test data is accurately recorded and records maintained and to provide oral and written reports on activities when required, which may be used in regulatory inspections (HSE)
• To liaise with Lab users and engineering support to ensure user and testing requirements are met, and to witness test activities of sub-contracted staff.
• To advise lab users and apply innovative solutions to achieve the client's business needs, deadlines, and targets.
• In line with any other responsibilities, to perform any tasks assigned or objectives set by the Line Manager.

Experience

• BTEC or Equivalent in a science or engineering subject. (Desirable)
• Experience in a scientific or technical field.
