● Managing property compliance across key risk areas at the branch level.
Responsibilities
- Communication with Asset Managers to ensure all properties remain compliant.
- Ordering and maintaining all certifications within required timescales.
- Monitoring contractor works to ensure compliance and following up on Asset Manager reports.
- Filing all certifications as per company policy.
- Submitting HMO licensing documents.
- Completing Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) as required.
- Ensuring all EPC ratings are current and maintaining regulations.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Collaborating with Asset Managers to ensure internal compliance checks are completed to standard, including weekly fire alarm testing.
- Assisting the Asset Management team during busy changeover periods.
- Completing compliance audits on new properties within 10 days of integration.
- Building contractor networks, ensuring compliance, and holding them accountable.
- Conducting HMO inspections with council officers.

Reporting to
- You will report to your Branch Manager.
- You will have a dotted line to the National Compliance Manager.
Measures
- All properties are always compliant.
- Quality of contractor work as per audit results.
- Completion of FRAs with satisfactory audit results.
- Invested properties are compliant at handover.
Location
- Based in Durham, overseeing Newcastle as well.
- Travel to properties from the office as required.
Training
- Complete NEBOSH qualification, funded by the company.
- Complete internal company training as required.
- Complete HHSRS training.
- Complete any additional training if legislation changes.
