Job summary

Connect Recruitment is seeking a Compliance Associate for a client in the financial services sector, specialising in luxury motor finance. The role supports the Compliance function across operational, regulatory, complaints and compliance matters under supervision.

You will assist with documentation, complaints and claims processes, liaise with internal teams and external advisors, and help develop internal legal and compliance frameworks. Opportunities for progression are available.

Qualifications

• A UK law degree or equivalent qualification (bar admission advantageous but not essential).
• 1–3 years’ experience in a legal, regulatory, or compliance role, preferably within financial services or a consumer-facing industry.
• Experience in motor finance or the automotive sector is beneficial, though not mandatory.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential; German language skills are an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and general document management tools.
• Basic knowledge of complaints and claims handling procedures; FCA Handbook/ DISP; UK consumer protection legislation; UK GDPR/Data Protection Act 2018.

Responsibilities

• Assist with contract support, complaints & claims processes.
• Provide regulatory & compliance support across activities.
• Liaise with internal teams and external advisors.
• Contribute to continuous development of internal legal and compliance frameworks.
• Perform general/operational tasks as needed.
