An established industry player is seeking a dedicated housing management professional to join their Resident Services Team. This role is crucial in assisting tenants to maintain their tenancies while promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life. You will provide high-quality compliance services, manage fire risk assessments, and advocate for residents within the community. With a focus on collaboration, you will work closely with various departments and agencies to tackle issues such as anti-social behavior and environmental concerns. The Resident Services Team is responsible for assisting tenants to sustain their tenancies, encouraging independence, and promoting their quality of life, safeguarding, health, and well-being. The team handles a wide range of issues including housing, welfare rights, personal finance, hoarding, tenancy management, mediation, life skills, and personal independence.
The role involves providing a high-quality housing management compliance service, dealing with fire risk assessments, clutter, unauthorised items in communal and storage areas (including utility and intake cupboards) within Havering Council’s social housing stock. The post also involves acting as an advocate and champion for the borough.
You must have a full UK manual driving license.
