Job summary

MERJE in Greater London is hiring two roles in its compliance operations team — a junior and a senior — to build out the function and draft policies across a broad range of generalist compliance activities.

You’ll own the firm’s compliance policies, update and write them from scratch, and support personal account dealing, gifts and entertainment, incident management, and the monitoring programme. A hands-on, autonomous approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong foundations in financial services compliance.
• Experience drafting and writing policies & procedures, ideally from scratch.
• Track record delivering change projects to tight deadlines.
• Experience across personal account dealing, gifts and entertainment, and incident management.
• Exposure to compliance monitoring programmes and frameworks.
• Able to work independently and proactively.

The Role

You’ll own the firm’s compliance policies and procedures, updating and writing them from scratch where needed, and support the wider compliance function across personal account dealing, gifts and entertainment, incident management and the compliance monitoring programme. It’s a hands-on role in growing team so the incoming people will need to be proactive and work autonomously.

Requirements
