Job Opportunity: Compliance Manager – Investment Management

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Manager to join a global investment management firm. This role is part of the Compliance Advisory team, supporting the wider Compliance function, with a focus on providing expert compliance advice within Private Markets.

This dynamic, commercially focused role combines advisory, training, stakeholder engagement, and conduct risk management to help the business meet its regulatory obligations effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver high-quality, risk-based compliance advisory support across asset classes or business areas.
2. Monitor, analyze, and interpret emerging regulations to ensure business readiness and compliance.
3. Develop strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, providing pragmatic and commercially sound compliance advice.
4. Contribute to strategic discussions and projects, considering regulatory and conduct risk factors.
5. Provide training, create policies and procedures, and support understanding of compliance obligations.
6. Maintain accurate compliance metrics and reports.
7. Support the development of a strong compliance culture across the business.
8. Collaborate with the global Compliance team to ensure consistent delivery and share best practices.

Experience & Skills:

1. Significant experience in a compliance advisory role within investment management.
2. Deep knowledge of at least one asset class such as Real Assets, Private Credit, Equities, Fixed Income, or Multi Asset.
3. Understanding of global regulatory frameworks, particularly AIFMD and MiFID.
4. Strong knowledge of financial promotions and investment processes.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
6. Ability to simplify complex regulatory concepts for diverse audiences.
7. Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
8. Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
