Compliance Manager

Location: Derbyshire

Salary: £28,000 - £40,000

Tasty Food, Tasty Role. Take this Compliance Manager role and help steer this excellent newly built site.

If you are a Compliance Technologist or Senior Food Technologist or similar, there is a superb new opportunity for you at a custom built shiny new factory in the Derbyshire area. This is a bit different from food manufacturing, but working with food products, it is still a fast-paced, complex, and demanding business. You will need to have demonstrable knowledge of food safety, food hygiene, and micro. The company offers you the autonomy to manage and take pride in Compliance for your site, driving improvements and quality.

So, where are you now and what are you doing? A foodservice or manufacturing background will work well here. Food Technologist, Compliance Manager, Supplier Assurance Manager alongside Food Technologist are all likely roles that will translate well.

Ideally, we’re looking for a food science or similar degree, with HACCP qualifications, and someone with experience of the BRCGS standards for food usage and storage.

It’s a role where you’ll need to build strong working relationships, upskill non-technical members of the divisional team, investigate complaints, trace root causes through the supply chain, and drive the food safety culture group-wide.

Ultimately, this is a client who understands the value their technical team brings to the business. Ethics and integrity are at the heart of this business that has a European-wide reach.
