The Compliance Manager plays a vital role in supporting, delivering and leading the teams in Right First Time; Compliance! The centre of excellence within the Wincanton EDF contract, working cohesively across 6 sites, supporting multiple departments and stakeholders to ensure the teams abide by the relevant legislation, Safe Systems of work, Business Continuity Plans and Standard Operating Procedures. Supported by an Auditor and Compliance Administrator, the role has further line management responsibilities.

Reporting into the contracts Health and Safety Manager.

Successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain security clearance prior to commencing employment, this includes being able to provide a minimum of 3 years consecutive UK employment/education & residential history

Day to Day

• Line Management of the Compliance Team and indirect management of the wider team

• Lead of all Compliance, Health and Safety and Audit matters

• Liaise with the client, stakeholders, and Wincanton to upload the highest standards of internal and external compliance

• Collate, produce, and review reports regularly, presenting to a varied audience: stakeholders/Wincanton

• Planning and co-ordination all aspects of the works including but not limited to Risk Assessments, Safe Systems Of Work, Business Continuity Plans, Audits and management plans

• Regular review and updating of visual aids to support the Zero Harm Environment

• All aspects of safe working, complying with all relevant legislation creating a genuine and positive health and safety culture

• Ensure all activities and operations are carried out in strict compliance with company and government procedure's & regulations.
