Job summary

Acis Group Ltd is seeking a Compliance Officer to join our quality team. You will monitor regulatory compliance, conduct audits, and support teams in applying contractual requirements across multiple sites.

You will maintain records, drive improvements and liaise with regulators and funders to evidence compliance. The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to communicate complex regulations clearly.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, governance, quality assurance, audit or risk management.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, funding rules, safeguarding and data protection.
• Experience conducting audits, inspections or monitoring activities.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building across all levels.
• Ability to interpret legislation and communicate requirements clearly.
• Experience investigating issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Strong analytical skills for data review and trend identification.
• Excellent report writing and management information experience.
• Good organisation and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to travel across Acis Group sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with internal policies, contractual requirements and regulatory standards.
• Conduct audits and compliance reviews across departments.
• Support teams to implement compliance requirements effectively.
• Maintain accurate records and evidence for audits.
• Review policies to identify improvements and ensure updates.
• Investigate non-conformances and ensure corrective actions.
• Prepare documentation for external inspections and regulatory reviews.
• Act as point of contact for compliance queries and guidance.
• Liaise with regulators, funding bodies and external partners.
• Analyse compliance data, identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness activities.
• Collaborate with teams to meet regulatory and contractual obligations.
• Support the Quality and Compliance Manager with reports and monitoring.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of governance, quality and risk management.
• Work with the wider quality team to cover tasks within timescales.
