A leading logistics company in Heywood is seeking a hands-on Compliance Coordinator to ensure adherence to Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (QHSSE) regulations. The role involves supporting compliance activities, improving safety standards, and collaborating with various teams. Candidates should have experience in cold-store operations or QHSSE roles. We are looking for a hands‑on Compliance Coordinator to help make sure our sites follow all Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (QHSSE) rules and standards. You will support daily compliance activities, help improve safety and quality, and work closely with different teams to maintain a strong QHSSE culture.
Shift Available: Working Monday - Friday 08:00-16:30. This site is a 24/7 facility, and this role will require some flexibility to work different shift patterns as and when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational QHSSE Support
Maintain the Food Safety Management System and support customer QHSSE requests.
Assist with internal and external audits and help investigate and resolve quality issues.
Apply Lineage's SIS safety standards, support annual safety audits, and assist with safety training and communication.
Report, investigate, and track incidents, suggesting corrective actions and improvements.
Carry out basic task risk assessments and support legal risk assessments.
Support safe execution of engineering projects and Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements.
Support compliance with security regulations (AEO/ISPS), help manage access control, CCTV and emergency procedures, and assist with security audits.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permit requirements, and chemical storage/handling processes.
Compliance, Improvement & Collaboration
Collect, review, and present QHSSE data, providing insights and recommendations to management.
Stay updated on changing legislation and industry requirements and communicate relevant updates to the team.
Support regional QHSSE projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and standardisation efforts.
Work closely with Operations, HR, BD, Procurement and other functions to align QHSSE activities with business needs.
Support the Regional QHSSE Manager during audits, customer visits, and regulatory inspections.
Requirements
Experience in cold-store operations (temperatures of around -18 degrees) or QHSSE roles.
Good understanding of HSE laws (local & EU) and cold-store processes.
Strong communication skills in English and the local language.
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
