We’re seeking a Compliance & Control, Markets EMEA - Senior Vice President to join our Markets Compliance team. This role is based in Queen Victoria Street, London, reporting to the Co-Heads of EMEA Markets, Corporate Treasury, and CCM Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Markets complies with group and Bank of New York strategic requirements within your remit.
• Maintain efficient, effective, and controlled operations, including responsibilities segregation and conflict prevention.
• Collaborate with business lines and partners to assess regulatory impacts and participate in related working groups.
• Coordinate with broader EMEA Compliance teams for service delivery and communication.
• Engage with regional offices, US, and APAC markets compliance functions.
• Record and escalate compliance issues impacting Markets, aligned with group and local processes.
• Represent the Markets Compliance function in internal and external meetings.
• Contribute to projects aimed at improving compliance and controls.

Qualifications:

• Degree and/or industry qualifications preferred.
• Experience in compliance, especially in wholesale markets (equities, fixed income, FX, etc.).
• Experience within a global organization’s compliance function.
• Strong communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
• In-depth knowledge of FCA, MiFID, MIFIR, EMIR, MAR regulations, and US FINRA requirements.
