Amey is seeking a passionate Compliance/Assurance Manager to join their Assurance Team, working remotely with travel across England. We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Compliance/Assurance Manager working remotely but extensive travelling across England. Please note, full Driving License is essential.

The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday

Join our vibrant, inclusive community to be part of our Assurance Team for Complex Facilities. Working in a secure environment, you will be guiding a team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical.

What You Will Do

  • Undertake Assurance audits in a timely manner, ensuring all requirements are met throughout audit.
  • Communicate and work with Delivery Managers to ensure statutory and Mandatory Compliance is always met.
  • Deliver Compliance training where necessary offering technical support and advice.
  • Help to maintain standards as set out in the Service Level Agreement.
  • Communicate and escalate problems and concerns promptly through line management ensuring quick resolution.
  • Attend meetings with Client and colleagues where required.
  • Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across all contracts.
  • Able to work as part of a team and use own initiative.
  • Support and contribute to continuous improvement.

What You Will Bring

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and compliance.
  • Clear, confident communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
  • Good report writing skills and computer literacy.
  • Team player with an enthusiastic and flexible attitude with a pro-active approach
  • Self-motivated and creative
  • Previous experience of working within the Facilities/Estate management arena.
  • Team management, working on own initiative, understand deadlines and priority.
