Your Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Compliance Assurance Manager to lead assurance activities within General Counsel, acting as an ambassador for our compliance obligations and culture. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing the Compliance Assurance audit team and managing relevant projects.
2. Motivating and developing team members, fostering a positive work environment.
3. Managing day-to-day operations of the audit team.
4. Collaborating with GCT Compliance Business Partners to drive improvements.
5. Managing work priorities and ensuring successful audit outcomes.
6. Evaluating and enhancing processes and controls to meet regulatory obligations.
7. Playing a key role in shaping the team's strategy.
8. Leading, developing, and recruiting team members, setting objectives, and creating development plans.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience with Law Society/SRA or equivalent.
• Background in compliance or in-house legal functions.
• Ability to work under tight schedules.
• Experience engaging with all levels of internal stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent drafting skills and relationship-building abilities.
