Qualifications

  • Knowledge of FCA Compliance related to both commercial and retail insurance.
  • Experience in insurance broking, preferably with London Market exposure.

Compliance Assistant - Lloyd's Insurance Brokerage, London

A leading Lloyd's Insurance Brokerage is currently recruiting for a Compliance Assistant to join their London team.

The role will provide support to the Compliance Team, dealing directly with and advising employees, Appointed Representatives, and Associate Companies regarding the Group’s Compliance activities, policies, and procedures to ensure all Compliance requirements are met.

Key tasks:
  1. Assist daily operations of the Compliance Department.
  2. Prepare monthly systems and control reports.
  3. Compile monthly reports from Finance and Sponsored Companies, and follow up on missing financial or TCF information.
  4. Maintain a master complaints log on a monthly basis.
  5. Assist with due diligence requests from Insurers and Intermediaries.
  6. Integrate Compliance training modules into the company's online training platform and ensure completion within deadlines.
  7. Attend Compliance Team and Product Governance Committee meetings, and compile minutes for review.
  8. Assist with Data Subject Access requests as needed.
  9. Maintain broker management systems (UK and overseas).
  10. Manage REG UK system alerts, monitor business connections, and escalate issues as necessary.
  11. Perform various administrative duties.
Knowledge and experience desired:
  • Knowledge of FCA Compliance related to Insurance requirements for both commercial and retail business.
  • Experience in insurance broking, preferably with London Market experience.
