Job summary

Pinnacle Recruitment is seeking an experience Compliance & Quality Manager to lead the compliance, quality and assurance frameworks within a fast-paced rail, construction and train depot environment. You will oversee the Integrated Management System (IMS) and drive certification and accreditation activities to support safe, compliant operations.

Key duties include maintaining ISO standards (9001, 45001, 14001), coordinating external audits, RISQS accreditation, and ensuring licensing

Qualifications

• IMS leadership and continual improvement experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 certifications.
• Ability to plan and coordinate external certification audits.
• Knowledge of RISQS accreditation processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management and continual improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Manage ISO certification programmes, including ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001.
• Plan and coordinate external certification audits, ensuring ongoing compliance and successful outcomes.
• Act as the lead contact for RISQS accreditation, including audit preparation, evidence management, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with Principal Contractor licensing requirements and associated assurance processes.
• Coordinate and lead client audits, inspections, assurance visits, and compliance reviews, ensuring timely closure of actions.
• Maintain the Quality Manual, ensuring document control, version management, and alignment with the wider IMS.
• Monitor, interpret, and implement changes to legislation, regulations, and industry standards affecting rail operations, construction, health & safety, quality, and environmental management.

This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the organisation maintains the highest standards of quality, safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory assurance. You will oversee the Integrated Management System (IMS), lead certification and accreditation activities, and provide expert guidance to support safe, compliant, and efficient business operations.
