Job Description

We’re recruiting for a Compliance Analyst (Surveillance) to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary and good benefits package.

What you'll be doing:

• Helping to develop and implement a comprehensive, risk-based Compliance Surveillance Programme
• Overseeing business activities and ensuring compliance alerts are resolved
• Detecting regulatory issues and risks, performing effective surveillance tests and analysis
• Creating clear and concise management information for various groups, committees, and team meetings
• Staying current with relevant rules and legislation, analysing new regulations for business impact
• Assisting L&G Asset Management in maintaining a robust regulatory control environment
• Collaborating with other Compliance and Risk team members through training and information sharing

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

• A recent graduate or someone early in their career at an Asst Manager or Financial Services company passionate about working in compliance
• Strong analytical skills and some awareness of relevant regulations
• Demonstrating curiosity and the ability to challenge positively while conducting risk assessments, projects, reviews, and surveillance
• High attention to detail and ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
• Ability to maintain effective relationships with management and external parties to deliver practical solutions
