Compliance Analyst- Equity Long/Short Hedge Fund (London)

Permanent Full-Time role

Salary: £60-70k (dependent on experience) + bonus + excellent benefits

Our client, a multibillion Equity Long/Short Hedge Fund, part of a $75bn group, is currently seeking a dynamic Compliance Analyst to join its growing Compliance Team in London.

This individual will be the third member of the UK Compliance Team and will provide support in various areas, reporting directly to the UK Chief Compliance Officer.

Our client prioritizes providing long-term career roadmaps for all employees, offering clear development paths and access to key training and certifications.

Responsibilities & Goals

• Provide generalist compliance support to the UK and global Compliance teams.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding of UK staff, including employees and consultants.
• Administer compliance matters such as periodic certifications, training, and personal account dealing requests and reporting.
• Maintain conflicts of interest logs, process gifts/entertainment requests and disclosures.
• Support daily short position disclosures and MIFIR transaction reporting.
• Conduct due diligence of service providers, including vendors, brokers, research and data providers, and AI tools.
• Monitor electronic communications and assist with expert network calls.
• Assist the global compliance team with requests such as Reg M review.
• Liaise with and advise front-office and other staff on compliance issues.

Education & Experience

• 1-3+ years of compliance or financial regulatory experience at an asset manager, bank, law firm, regulator, or relevant institution.
• Bachelor’s degree, 2:1 or higher, preferably in law, economics, or finance, but not essential.
