Description

This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone considering their first step into Healthcare & Sports litigation. The successful candidate will work directly alongside two Healthcare & Sports Partners on a range of matters, handling delegated tasks on high-profile cases involving multiple interested parties. Flexible working arrangements are available for the right candidate. While most team members are based in London, applicants from Bolton, Liverpool, and Manchester are encouraged to apply.

Key Accountabilities
  • Achieve performance targets and quality standards, including 5.2 chargeable hours per day.
  • Handle telephone inquiries and liaise with parties involved in claims, such as policyholders, insurers, experts, and witnesses.
  • Review large volumes of medical records to create factual notes and chronologies.
  • Use Collaborate and Bundledocs to upload documents and provide access to clients, experts, and Counsel.
  • Maintain Tracker with details of proceedings and updates to keep digital files current.
  • Create indexes and bundles using Bundledocs and prepare documents digitally for use by Counsel and experts.
  • Utilize Foxit to manage files and organize documents within the Tracker library.
  • Arrange conferences with clients, counsel, and experts; coordinate hearing and trial schedules.
  • Liaise with witnesses regarding availability for conferences and trials.
  • Register and update CRU, notify CRU of settlements.
  • Conduct legal research and perform ad hoc legal tasks.
  • Assist with billing queries.
